The when, the why…
About forty years ago, at the tender age of 7, I took my first tourist trip without my parents (my best friend’s dad was a teacher, taking a group of 11 year olds on a 5 day school trip to London). I had my first camera and a diary, so I could later share my new experiences with my family; and my love of photographing places of interest and beauty, and writing about them, began. I have never stopped writing or photographing, but this is my first time sharing those places special to me with a wider audience.!

Hi, I’m Annabel, a writer and a reflexologist, living my dream, with four babies, two girls and two boys (two are not-so and quickly growing-up babies, and two just happen to be of the furry four legged kind); and my gentle, music loving husband; in a beautiful Victorian house with gardens, in the West Yorkshire countryside.
